Seeing the new in your garden

February 2, 2018

I love wandering around my garden in the morning, when the birds are tweeting and calling, flying around, the grass is fresh from dew, and everything seems alive.  We’re mid summer here, but have a few days of cool weather to get over the recent heat we’ve had so the garden is looking great, although the weeds think they’re most welcome too… not!

Anyway, I’ve been noticing all the new growth recently and thought I’d share it with you.  Some of it pretty amazing, probably all of it really, when you start to closely look at things. Love it!

New flower buds on water lily emerging
New Grevillea flower forming
New growth on Silver Birch tree
New water lily leaves forming and reaching the water surface
Milfoil growing like crazy in the water

About Kathie Thomas

A keen gardener from a young age, thanks to my grandmother, I've grown just as passionate about gardening photography too. This site allows me to combine both.
