I joined a photography group to visit the Pirianda Gardens in Olinda. The aim was to take macro shots of fungi. My macro lens and I do not get on very well… yet. We’re not friends but maybe one day. Anyway, I did perserve for awhile with the lens but the beautiful surroundings and Autumn colour meant I was champing at the bit to change to my 18-105mm lens which I’d also brought with me. That lens won out and I got these beautiful shots wandering around the gardens.
I had been telling myself I must visit this place one day. So glad I did! Here are some of the images I took today. Click on each one individually to see them at full size. I hope you like them.
