Gardening Project Week 5

July 14, 2017

It’s now become a race against the weather. We’ve been getting some rain but not as much as we normally do in June. Kind of a blessing for the work to get done. But just how much will they achieve before it gets too wet?

More sand and river stones were being delivered. Our neighbour graciously allowed for trucks to travel up and down his driveway to the back of our property so the deliveries could be made more easily. Their little dingo and excavator were put to work, pushing and carrying around the materials to their designated spots.

My husband standing on the almost finished deck. It’s definitely very solid.

The first pathway that’s almost complete, lined with rocks from our own property. While we’ve had to bring in large rocks and river stones, it’s been wonderful that we’ve also had a lot of our own rocks here to use.
