Loved this beautiful display of Cosmos at the Wilson Botanic Gardens last weekend. Cosmos is from the same genus as the sunflower family.
My grandmother grew cosmos so it always reminds me of her. I learnt my love of gardening through her, as a child, and would often spend time with her in the garden when staying during school holidays. I do have one plant in our garden currently which is just starting to open up. With our dry summer I expect any other seeds that had been planted around the garden just didn’t germinate, for whatever reason and which is a shame. Maybe next summer I might see a better display. I’ll work at it! In the meantime, enjoy these images I took last weekend.

Oh I love Cosmos too Kathie, it was one of the first flowers I was able to grow from seed. Beautiful pics as usual!
