Visit to a garden designer’s garden

November 6, 2018

Been a little while since I posted here - sorry! I do post regularly at Instagram and am on Facebook too. But need to remember to post here often too. In September, I went with a group of fellow garden lovers, to see the gardens of Phillip Johnson, a well known garden designer who lives not far from us. You may have heard of him even if you … [Read more...] about Visit to a garden designer’s garden

All you see from the outside is a fence and hedge but wow! when you get inside, it's really amazing. Hedges outline different garden rooms and, as Michael said to us at the … [Read more...] about Kyneton Old Rectory Garden

Pirianda Gardens

May 5, 2018

I joined a photography group to visit the Pirianda Gardens in Olinda. The aim was to take macro shots of fungi. My macro lens and I do not get on very well... yet. We're not friends but maybe one day. Anyway, I did perserve for awhile with the lens but the beautiful surroundings and Autumn colour meant I was champing at the bit to change to my … [Read more...] about Pirianda Gardens
