I didn't know, till yesterday, that ladybugs actually develop from larvae. Never even occurred to me, but it was because I noticed some on our powdery mildew zucchini leaves and saw they were the same colour as the ladybugs that I thought I'd do some research on this. Loved this beautiful display of Cosmos at the Wilson Botanic Gardens last weekend. Cosmos is from the same genus as the sunflower family. My grandmother grew cosmos so it always reminds me of her. Love this Banksia menziesii which is a species of flowering plant in the genus Banksia. It can grow up to 10m tall as a gnarled tree, or as a lower spreading 1–3 m shrub.
